Hey all, we are having a fall wedding and our colors are gray and orange. The bridesmaids are wearing charcoal and the groomsman are wearing a charcoal as well, the groom will be in a lighter shade of gray and I am in an ivory dress…
I can’t decide what the parents should wear…should they wear a silver or some other fall color?

I’m confused. Why not let them decide their own colors of their outfits?

Taupe, champagne, deep berry… metallics are always good.
Black or grey suits.

my father, and FI’s father will be in the same suit/tux as the groomsmen. they’ll most likely have different ties, though. my mom and his mom will choose what they wear (i honestly don’t care, i’d rather them be comfortable). i’d let the moms choose. afterall, your bridesmaids are in a neutral color, so there isn’t a worry of clashing (:
i think silver would be pretty. or even a deep orange, or burgundy color. to go with the fall theme.

I think typically they wear whatever they want, and you can give them corsages or something to distinguish them.

I’m a little confused…are you asking all the parents to wear the same color?!?
Wedding attire etiquette, generally goes that the bride picks her dress, then the bridesmaids. Next dress is the mother of the bride and after she selects color and style mother of the groom is up because they don’t want to be in the same dress (or color).
With a fall wedding you have a lot of rich bold colors to play with! Burgandy, yellow hues, browns, etc.

I’m not deciding what they wear just what colors they could wear…
Thanks for the input!!
