I stayed at Hotel Ibis twice in Chateau Landon. The surrounding neighbourhood isn’t so great, but the metro is literally 3 steps away. (Same building as hotel, but not connected) Very easy to get around the city and to the suburbs RER trains.

Amazing breakfast and WIFI included. Breakfast included fresh plain and chocolate croissants, yogurt, cereal, ham, cheese, baguettes, juice, water, etc.

There’s an elevaator too, so no dragging your luggage up the stairs.

It’s fairly inexpensive, we paid $1250 each including direct flights from Toronto to Paris including 6 nights stay at the hotel and all taxes.

I went to Paris for my honeymoon and stayed for about 10 nights and it was around the price range you are looking for.

The hotel was lovely and the staff was really helpful to us. We really wanted to have a “French” experirence so we decided we did not want to stay at a hotel with bigger rooms or very modern. This is right in front of Pantheon and very close to metro stations (like 2 blocks or so). They even have a underground dinning room where they serve yummy food. It’s very centally located and you can walk to really good restaurants and bars. I really recommend it!
