Anyone from the Park City, UT area? My HI and I have planned a trip to Park City for our honeymoon the week of Nov 14. We’re staying in a very nice hotel that we’re really excited about. Two fireplaces! I’ve looked around, and it looks like there MAY be some some ski resorts open, depending on the snowfall. Anyone been to Park City in mid November? What was it like? Any snow?
We live in Texas and couldn’t stomach the idea of going somewhere warm. It’s so effing hot here, and has been for so long, you don’t even want to go outside.

I live about 20 minutes outside Park City. I have to be honest to say that I seriously doubt any ski resorts will be open mid November. Last year they were supposed to be open the day after Thanksgiving and that ended up not even happening, they didn’t open until early December. Maybe you will get lucky though.
Even though the resorts may not be open Park City is still a pretty amazing place to go for a honeymoon! There are amazing shops, lots of great places to eat and its really beautiful! Have a blast! I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you for early snow!!

Thanks! We booked the honeymoon knowing they probably wouldn’t be open, but we’re ok with that. Would be a nice bonus, though 🙂 It’s good to hear from a local that it’ll be great either way!
