So my fiance and I are getting married at the courthouse but have planned a cookout for family and friends that night. The cookout will be outside our home in the carport. Were expecting around 20 adults to be there. I’ve estimate the car count to be about 12 cars and I just don’t see where everyone will park. Does any one have any solutions since I don’t want to take up the whole street with guest and annoy neighbors.

Can people split rides? 12 cars for only 20 people is a lot.

I would just take up the street. It is one night only.
Do you have anything nearby? My sister had 100 people at a backyard event for her engagement party recently, and she had everyone park at a local school (it was on a weekend). Luckily the school was less than a 5 minute walk from the house.

Katy1 : I dont think 12 cars is a huge strain on the street.
If it was 20 or so then id look into a nearby public lot/park and look into a shuttle or having someone drive people bacl and forth, but 12 cars is just fine for the evening.
If you are worried, you could give some neighbors a heads up, but i dont think its necessary.

Is your street typically tight on parking? If it’s a typical suburban street where most people park in their driveways, I don’t see it being an issue. If the street is crowded to begin with, I would recommend looking into public lots nearby that could be used or consider carpooling.
