- Wedding: September 2014 - Forest and Ball Room
I posted 3 days ago about a bolero asking about how I can dress up my pretty simple (in my eyes anyway) gown. I felt a little dress regret because I have ALWAYS wanted sleeves on my gown and out of panic I purchased a strapless gown. Boo. It is beautiful, and I do some-what love it. I just feel like it is missing something. So I decided to throw the bolero idea out. The kind I did like would cover up the exsisting lace which I think wouldn’t look right with lace on lace. I could be wrong, but after my research I found no one else had really done it so I just threw that idea out. I started looking for appliques that we could add as sleeves and I found some beautiful options, and I now cannot decide because I want them all!!!! Here is my dress, sorry for blocking almost everything out. I don’t want my FI to accidently stuble across my “wedding folder” and see me in it. I have a few dress inspirations in there still so I don’t think he’d think anything of it. I hope not anyway 😉 Oh and my dress is pretty big on me already. So while I was taking pictures it was falling off on the top… which is why it looks so low on my torso (At least I think so)

Some details on the wedding: It is a fairytale woodland theme. I’ve always been told I am a Cinderella in the woods because I love sparkle and pink but love to be barefoot in the woods or in the river/ocean. Strange, but I guess being raised in AK has that affect on the ladies
= Here are the options I am trying to decide between. I think I know the one but maybe I can get better advice. TIA and sorry about all that posting! They are shown as being used as a belt, but they are just the applique. so really they are multi-purpose.

Again, used as straps/sleeves!

1) 2) 3)
