(Closed) Part time PhD?

It depends on your program (some majors do it, some don’t) and the university. I’ve never heard of a parttime student being funded though, since you usually need to take the fulltime credit load as a stipualtion of being funded.

They rarely fund masters students, let alone part ttime ph.d’s, plus many schools have a statute of limitations, you have to complete all requirements within a certain period of time (say, 10 years) so you’d have to make sure you could do it within that period.
