- Wedding: September 2014 - Manhattan Church Rec Center
The best wedding I’ve ever went to had a party bus take us to 3 locations to party before headed to the reception.
My ceremony and reception venue are a bit apart so I am looking into getting transportation to take my guest from one place to another.
I am totally down for getting a 50 person charter for some other guest and a 20 person party bus for some of the “younger folk”…
this is all if money allows.
I am finding this is an important thing for me…making sure my guest are comfortable, safe and get there all at the same time…
So tell me about your transportation experiences!
Was the price way more then you thought???

I looked into transportation for guests as well, since we are having our ceremony downtown on a Friday which means rush hour and expensive weekday parking fees. I realized it’s a professional development day for teachers though so there is no school – meaning school buses are wide open (they would be on weekends too). It’s $200 per bus to do a round trip anywhere in the city. They will pick our guests up at a designated parking lot and take them to the ceremony, and then return later to bring them to the reception. I thought that was pretty cheap. Each bus seats 48.

Let’s see if it will let me post this time… Our church and reception venue are also a little ways apart so we decided to go with the Trolley Bus. I think it fits 28 – so we will have our bridal party and their SO. We wanted something different and we have never seen anyone that we know have one of these so we are really excited! I was shocked at how much it ended up being, but it will be worth it I think! 🙂
