@Diamond117 Thanks so much!!

I actually didnt touch the skirt at all- not the length, tulle or train. It all worked perfectly with a 3 inch heel. I’m 5’8″ so maybe it looks shorter because i’m taller? I didnt have a hard time walking in it at all and even more importantly, dancing in it. My DJ even said to me- “i’ve never seen someone with a dress so tight be able to move around so much!” lol.

One recommendation- when you go to have the seamstress mark your bustle, I forget one kind of bustle it is, but make sure its teh one that is looped all around the bottom seam (between the skirt/bustle)- it doesnt take away from the integrety of the dress and makes it look like the dress is supposed to just be that way rather than bustled.

@aleksandra.bojeva I have to admit, the Vera gown you reference is the exact type of gown I thought I wanted and tried many on just like it. But what made me fall in love with the dress and even looking back at pictures from my wedding now is the simplistic drama of the dress didnt take away from ME- so while everyone said they loved my dress I didnt think that the dress was stealing MY thunder and the dress itself wasnt a distraction from the overall picture.

Don’t get me wrong, no way just anyone could wear this dress. It certainly shows off and requires curves. That in itself creates alot of drama.

Hope that helps!

@aleksandra.bojeva:  My dress was in the Diamond White. I get pretty tan so I liked the more white dresses with my complexion. My veil didnt 100% match the color white and you can tell in some pictures which i kind of regret not paying more attention to.

Hello Ladies!! You all look amazing, thanks for the pics!!

Have to say that I just joined so I could comment on this thread 😀

If you ask me, I would never have thought this dress could be THE dress!! After a month of research I went to a store with the list of the dresses that I wanted to try on only to find out that I hated them! LOL Call it faith but I picked this one last dress that was not on my list and I LOVED IT!

Pascua is fun, elegant, sexy, and the fabric is of the highest quality!!

aleksandra.bojevait must be hard for you because you dont have a picture to go back and look at it, but trust me, the dress is spectacular!! NOT in the Pronovias website though!!

I would recommend to all the brides that already purchased a dress to STOP looking at other dresses!! drive your energy towards finding accessories, hair styles and what not. I am sure there are taller and skinnier brides out there with stunning dresses but iis important what fits YOU, not them!!

Ps. I have added a beautiful sash to my dress just to create some drama, what do you guys think??

@L0ve_bug:  You just made me love my dress again, thank you! You look stunning and it looks really great the sash. A girl can always use som bling 😉

I can see the lining on your dress is crawling up on one side too. It just takes af few stitches and it will stay ind place.

Please post more pics if you have any.

Pascua is my dress!!! I thought I had settled on a different dress that I had tried on a few months back right after getting engaged but I never went back to purchase it and kept looking online. I don’t remember how I came across the Pronovias Pascua online but fell in love with it! Then I found out it was discontinued which made it even more of a task to get a hold of. I couldn’t find any store in my area that had a sample to try on &/or purchase. I ended up finding a department store in Ireland that had one for sale and decided to take a chance & order it since they would allow me to return it if it didn’t work out. I just received it a few days ago….PERFECT! I love it! If any of you have more pics to post that would be great! I would love to see them! I haven’t been able to try it on long enough with others around to take pics yet since having to sneak around the fiance but hopefully in the next few days.

This is the first pic of me in it! Was kind of in a hurry trying it on at my sister’s house the other day so not exactly the best but I think it shows just how beautiful it is in person. Besides It needs some alterations (I had to hold the back tight with one hand since didn’t have any of those handy clips like the bridal salons) but couldn’t be more happy with it!

Sorry if the pic comes out super big…
