I think the pashmina is a great idea, but if you want them to be able to wear them again, nix the embroidery.

Would you wear a pashmina with any of those choices embroidered on it out to a cocktail party or babeque at a later date?

If you really insist on personalizing them in some way, attach a little label on the inside.

    Simple is always more elegant.

If you want to embroider something, what about a monogram with their initials?

I agree with @julies1949:. Simple is best. Don’t embroider them.

I love that dress, we almost went with it!  I wouldn’t embroider anything on the pashminas.

I have seen a lot of different shops on etsy that embroider pashima scarves- I think I would just go with small initials or nothing.

I had their first initial embroidered on a corner of it. The letter was no bigger than an inch and a half. They love them, and can wear them all the time (they’re silver).

I LOVE my monogrammed pash!  I would just do their initials.  I personally wouldn’t wear something again that said “bridesmaid” or referred to someone else’s wedding date.

I would either put nothing or embroider their initials on the pashmina.

if you really are set on embroidering them, i’d just do their initials, and not anything specific to your wedding or weddings in general.  any local screenprinting shop can usually do custom embroidery.

I’m doing the same for my girls and using their monogram…in the south we love a good monogram πŸ™‚
