We had a string duo for our ceremony. Thirty minutes before the wedding they played instrumentals of Coldplay, One Republic, Jazon Mraz, etc.

Seating of the Parents: Jesu, Joy of Man Desiring

Bridal Party: Largo by Handel

Bridal Processional: Canon in D

Recessional: Trumphet Voluntary

Intro/Cake Cutting:  I didn’t pick anything, I told our band to just pick something to play. I didn’t have any preference.

First Dance: I Like You by Ben Rector. The singer in our band did the cover.

Father/Daughter Dance: I Loved Her First by Heartland. Since we had a band, the girl sang a cover version of this song. Less twangy and country sounding.

Last Dance: Didn’t care.

Hope that helps.

My FH is a musician and a composer so he is writing original music for our wedding, but also arranging our favorite songs from our favorite movies, songs and such to be played out. Different, but it reflects us!

My fiance is pushing for “Isn’t She Lovely” by Stevie Wonder for my walk down the aisle but I know the song was written about his daughter so, although I love the song, I’m not sold on it. I want something a little more traditional for the Bridal Processional (probably Cannon in D)

Preclude: Random mix of cute songs. Fiancee will then head down the aisle to Marry Me by Train.

Processional A Thousand Years by Piano Guys. Flower girl, Maid/Matron of Honor and I all included.

Recessional: I do- Best Day of My Life- AMerican Authors. Not a HUGE fan of this song otherwise but its so perfect!

Intro/Cake Cutting: Either something by John Legend or Adore You by Miley Cyrus. I HATE her but this song is sweet and a nice alternative choice for something like cake cutting.

First Dance: It will be a complete surprise to me, letting fiancee pick it out. AH!

Father Daughter: Three Little Birds by Bob Marley

Money Dance: Shake Your Moneymaker by Ludacris and Pharrell, and then we need to think of another…

No garter toss or bouqut toss. We will do an anniversary dance and the longest couple left will get a gift of some sort. I like By Your Side by Sade for this. A classic.

No clue on the last dance but something upbeat.
