Hi,
I imagine many of you have by now selected your bridesmaids and are in the process of trying to pull together a color pallete! So, I thought I would ask this here:
I have been trying to figure out 6 dresses in different pastel shades, in chifon, and am wondering if anyone has attempted to do this with more than 5+ maids? I have 6. I am generally trying to pull together these colors: light pink, peach, light yellow, light green (mint?), light blue, and grey (or purple).
If you havent Yet attempted to do this, (despite how gorg the mags and blogs are with this pallette) … not a SINGLE designer has all those colors that actually GO together that I can find!
Amsale doesn’t have peach (though I am bringing in peach from Donna Morgan) Amsale’s green is so pale it looks white. No one has a good mint/light green except Dessy. And pale yellow- no idea. DM has peach, but their greys, greens, and blues look neon online… and cant find them in the stores to see in person (nordstroms bridal is discontinuing carrying them bc they’re moving to off the rack). – You’d think 1 store in the DC-tri-state area would have done this.
So just wondering if anyone has figured this out? I have basically just gone to Macy’s bridal and picked out a bunch of random designers that have pastel colors that Seeem to match but also- the stores only have the dresses by style not color- so its really hard to get all the colors together at the same time (cryyyyyyyy)
Would Love to hear from anyone who has done this, and their list and ‘color’ of the dresses they pulled together. Price range- maybe under $300, the BMs are being so sweet and flexible. And- everyone is happy with long chiffon, they may have various necklines.
I’m putting off until Jan – late Jan- to get the final combo of dresses. I ‘realize’ that many weddings have these ‘mismatched’ dresses but I feel these need to look *a little * consistent. 🙂
My wedding is in Charlottesville, VA; outside ceremony at a vineyard. 🙂
Thanks!!
