writersblock:  I use Origins and love it. Haven’t had any complaints.  I have dry skin and my husband has oily skin and the Origins Checks and Balances face wash is wonderful for us both. It’s moisturizing enough for me and doesn’t dry my husband out as many oily face washes seem to. The charcoal face mask is great too and lasts forever. I use it about once a week or so and it really helps smooth out my skin.

Other- Eminence Organic. The best skincare line I have ever tried in life. Its made my skin so much better. It’s just beyond anything… Kiehls, Origin etc. It has a cult following and for good reason. Look into it! And get a facial at an Eminence certified spa to try things out. Its only supposed to be available at certified spas but you can get on Amazon. You can use tiny amounts of each product and dilute with water, they’re very potent.

I’ve recently become obsessed wtih Origins.  I use their Nightamins every night as a moisturizer and the ginzing energy boosting moisturizer that smells like citrusy heaven as my AM moisturizer.  I also recently got a foaming face wash as a sample from Sephora and loved it — made my skin feel very fresh but not tight after washing.  I previously had their original skin as a sample, too, which is a new addition to the line (I believe)… and I remember being blown away by it and saved the wrapper so when I finish up the rest of my samples, I can go purchase the full sized version.  I generally go for antioxidant and anti-aging effects in my skincare routine.  I’ve also just come off of an accutane regimine, which has left my skin quite dry and I’ve been playing around with moisturizers.

I was surprised that I liked Origins because, at least 10 years ago, I believed there was kind of a stigma that they were an old brand and it wasn’t that popular.  But I’ve actually had great success so far.

I know Sephora has had quite a few samples of their products, so maybe stop by one of their stores and express your interest in trying some of their samples 🙂  I cannot recommend the Night-a-mins enough.  It smells just so darn good.

I’m a huge Paula’s choice fan! They have products for everything and are reasonably priced and only use proven ingredients.

What products specifically? IMO Paula’s Choice makes the best AHAs/BHAs hands down

Origins forever!! I started loving Checks and Balances face wash for my combo skin, and also used light lotion. Then I fell in love with the Gin Zing, and A Perfect World Line. I also can’t get over their charcoal mask. Best mask I have ever tried!
