Ladies, I need some help/advice/support/whatever…I’m going to make this as short/sweet as I can. Basically my Darling Husband is now a full-time student after getting laid off from a really good paying job right before the wedding last winter. I’m the sole provider. I don’t make much, granted I’m entry level so I know you have to work your way up but I work at a business that doesn’t have any room to move up–I am in HR so I know what the options are, haha!
Here’s the issue: I just found out about a better paying job that is at the local university and with room to move up, it’s still in HR. I am 90% sure that I am not pregnant this month, but I’m not sure how long after (IF) I get the job to wait to TTC again? It breaks my heart to not be able to 🙁
I will accept any pearls of wisdom. Any.

i say apply for the job and hit that question if and when it comes. i’m a super planner, but you need to get the wheels in motion first or you’ll be stuck either way.

@BirdofaFeather: I’m a planner too. It’s impossible to know what’s going to happen for sure but dang it I wish I could wave a magic wand! 😛

I’d apply for the job. You want to be able to provide for the baby when it comes, what are you going to do if you got pregnant and couldn’t work and, heaven forbid, your current job didn’t work out or something? It doesn’t sound like you need the extra stress of being pregnant with your husband having just been laid off…

If you are going to an HR position, then you’ll have the answer to the question when you start the job :).
Sounds like a good move for you guys, so I’m wishing you good luck!
