I know the ring is coming in a couple of months and we’ve been talking about it a lot. He wants to make sure that I love it, so I’ve been giving lots of feedback and ideas.
I’m contemplating whether or not I want to have a setting custom made or order it off moissaniteco.com. If we got it custom made, we would have a pave diamond 1.5 mm band with a 2 carat equivalent moissy set in. If we order it on moissaniteco.com, we’d order style eng178b. I’m wondering if it would be weird to have a pave diamond wedding band next to a pave moissanite engagement ring?? Do you think that you could really tell the difference? Does anyone have any pictures of them maybe next to each other??

What about getting a pave moissanite wedding band too? That’s what I plan on doing, but from what I have heard, when the stones are that small, there really is no difference. Some of moissyco’s e rings have diamond side stones!

I would ask for diamond pave, personally.

I would do diamond, personally. 🙂 That’s what I have…diamond pave on a very thin band with a solitaire. I looooooove it.

order a loose moissanite and get a diamond pave setting locally, to match a diamond band in the future!

My new RHR is going to be a 1 carat moissanite with pave diamond swirls around it in yellow gold, I’m so excited! Gthere to see the setting and to see some more interesting diamond cuts! Ages artists are doing lots of unique things lately!

@Mick0304: Hi! The lady I’m working with at Joseph Schubach to make my e ring said that moissanite doesn’t come small enough to put into pave and that diamonds would be stronger and more brilliant in smaller sizes…. I wanted moissies in my pave as well to cut costs but she advised against it stating those reasons.. not sure whether you’d be able to see a visible difference though! Hope This Helps :):)
