What are your thoughts about the diamonds not going all the way around on the band? At first I liked the idea of it being smooth inbetween my fingers, but after looking at all the rings on here they seem to go all the way around? Thoughts?
I would love to see more PAve style thin bands.

I prefer the stones to only go a quarter of the way around or sometimes half. I don’t like the bulk of the stones and settings and it hurts if your hand gets squished or you hold your fingers together. In my opinion it is uncomfortable. I am glad I chose stones that only went down to where my fingers touched.

My band does not have diamonds that go all the way around which is something I specifically asked for. I was worried about it getting scratched or a diamond falling out since I tend to be rough on my hands.

The band on my ering goes 3/4 around but my wedding band is a full eternity.
My set is actually very comfortable…perhaps it’s due to the way the diamonds were set. I wanted an eternity band for my wedding ring because I didn’t want to deal with the spinning and having to constantly re-adjust it…my ering doesn’t do that since it’s top heavy.
I’m not too worried about damage or missing stones since I’m gentle on my hands and I baby my rings. And my jeweler also offers a lifetime warranty.

My band had the option of going 1/2 or you could upgrade and have them go 3/4 of the way down. I liked 3/4 because if the ring spun then there were still diamonds on the side that were visible. It all depends on personal preference and budget. They also offer my same setting with diamonds all the way around but then you wouldn’t be able to resize it.
Here’s what it looks like under my hand.

I personally didn’t want a full eternity, because a) diamonds chip, and b) you cannot size a full eternity. The pave on my ering goes about halfway around, maybe a touch more, and that’s perfect to me.

Mine go exactly half-way. My fingers only rub against micropave prongs when I play my violin, and when my hand is relaxed I can’t even see where the micropave stop.
I really like the smooth band. It doesn’t scratch and doesn’t feel sharp when my fingers slide against the micropave, but it’s textured enough that I will never go to 3/4 coverage or more.
size 3.75 ring, band width is 1.3mm

mine go a little more than halfway around and you never see the gold.

It’s good to leave some metal at the bottom because full eternity cannot be resized. One of my sets goes about 1/3 way around, and the other goes half way. They’re both very comfortable to me.

Mine goes halfway round, thankfully, as I am heavy handed and usually bang my hands so I couldn’t cope with it going all the way round. Plus it’s beneficial in terms of comfort and the possibility of needed it resized.

My engagement ring is probably 3/4 around but bc it’s a 3.75 it looks like it goes further. My wedding band is pretty much full eternity. I’ve never had problems with eithe band

My ring goes 3/4th around the band with the art deco detailing but I would say the diamonds go half the way or perhaps a bit further there’s only a space at the boho bottom of the ring to have Boucheron 750 with my serial number or the diamond and untreated sapphire carat total weights , I was fortunate to have my husband buy the lifetime warranty and replacement plan with it So if any of the stones get loose or fall out the jewelers replace them free of charge , the downside to that is I have to bring it to the jewelers every 6 months to be inspected ,and to be honest some times I loose track So I haven’t really been wearring it much anymore ,My husband got me a nicer 3 1/2 ctw combined set all in one ring and I actually love the white gold look more

My pave is 3/4 around and I’m so glad it is. The stones between my fingers don’t bother me at all, never have. And like minimalistbeex :’s picture, even if my ring spins to where my center stone is all the way to the side you still see nothing but diamonds.
