I LOVE pawn shops!!! Good idea, my choice is the second one. It looks both classic and modern some how.

Ah, yes, I like marquise cuts too!

I LOVE the looks of the second one. I am a big fan of that style though – centre stone with tapered baguettes. I think it would look great paired with an engraved yellow gold band to match not only the yellow gold accents, but the engraving on the engagement ring. But the ballerine style is a super cool vintage are deco setting. You just might have to wear it as a standalone or move it to right hand if you want a band 🙂

But, ultimately, I’d go with whichever center stone speaks to you. You can always reset the diamond into a simple solitaire or a setting with some sidestones down the road (or sooner).

Love that second ring!  Definitely seems the most classic out of all of them- the ballerina style is pretty fabulous, but I’m really drawn to the two toned with baguettes.

herrera2016:  I LOVE that ballerina style one! So art deco – very cool! I also like the two-toned ring, but the art deco style is so stunning!

herrera2016:  I vote the bottom PIC with wide shoulders. It’s beautiful. They are all stunning but that last one got me.

#2 is the only one that does not looked ripped from the 80’s. There is nothing wrong with the 80’s look, it is just that I think the second ring is so classic and timeless I would go for that for sure.

herrera2016:  You’re right, one day you’ll look down at the ballerina and say to yourself “great.. I bought a cocktail ring”.. don’t do it ! lol.  There are too many other gorgeous choices.  Lucky girl!

Definitely the two tone. The others are straight from the 80s – and I should know lol.

In my honest opinion, I would go w/ the last ring (with the bigest stone) and if in budget, get it reset into your absolute perfect setting 🙂 If you are planning to purchase the ring and wear it as is, the second two toned ring is beautiful!
