I wanted to get our wedding bands (10 or 14k white gold plain bands) from a seller on ebay that has been selling a long time and has good feedback. His policy is that you get a lifetime warranty on them but for service you have to pay to ship the rings both ways. So its not free because of the shipping. My fiance says its better to pay more for the rings, and go to a real life tangible store to buy them, so we get a warranty where we can just walk in and get them polished or refinished whenever we need it done. Which is better, to get a better price up front but have to pay to get them refinished, or to pay more up front to have it all covered in the future? Im really stumped on this and cant make up my mind. Were talking about paying $300 if we go with ebay but more like $700 if we buy them in a real store.
