I finally have the final draft of my invites YAY! Now my question is do I pay the extra to have the outside envelopes printed (im not doing inner envelopes)
I am so torn they are so cute i want to get them. But my mom and friends say to save the money because no one will notice.

I printed my envelopes on my own printer. It was very time consuming, but free :). I just downloaded a pretty font instead of paying $200+ for calligraphy.

Its not for the addresses, I plan on doing that myself already.
Its for the design thats on the invite! So it will be pretty outside too!

Is the design something you might be able to do yourself? I printed mine on my own printer and then used a stamp and did some embossing to make the envelope pretty (bonus the stamp was in the $1 bin at Michaels!) FI and I love the way it looks, but honestly, more people have commented about how our response cards are written than the outer envelopes – which I put more work into!

I had my outside envelopes printed but this is because my two options were printed by company or pay a caligrapher. Nether are cheap.
I printed my STD envelopes on my home printer last Decemeber and it was a royal pain in the butt so I didn’t want to even consider that for the invitations.

Not something I could do. I plan on printing the addresses & return addresses but if i pay the extra the outside will look just like the inside this is a photo of the invite (sorry about the quality its a phone pic of the comp screen)
So it will have the same pretty boarder! I was thinking about maybe ordering liners instead or seeing if they could do colored envelopes!

i had that same choice, in the end I decided to save the money because people are just going to throw them away anyways. But for decoration, i embossed a cake stamp on the envelopes so they werent plain.
