What do you think? Do you think they’d mind paying for their hair themselves? Or should I pay since I’m kinda assuming (not requiring) they’ll get their hair done. I’m tossing up the idea of paying for all my bridesmaid’s to get their hair done the morning of the wedding. Problem is, I have 6 bridesmaids. So, to pay for their hair then buy them each a gift this will start to add up.

I gave my girls the option of getting their hair done (so, not required). And if they wanted to, they paid. A few had their hair done, a few did their own. I’ve also always paid for my hair every time I’ve been a bridesmaid. So it’d be hugely generous of you to offer, but it’s definitely not necessary!

I think if it’s truly optional, you don’t have to pay.
I asked my girls to all have their hair up, and told them that if they wanted me to make an appointment for them at the same salon I was getting my hair done at it would be $X. Three chose to get theirs done with me and one did her own.
Same thing in the wedding I was Maid/Matron of Honor in. 4 bridesmaids, 2 chose to get theirs done while the bride did, one did her own and the other was the groom’s sister, who chose to go get hers done with her mom elsewhere.
