No, I think that’s fine. It’s nice of you to do that.

I think it’s fine. I opted to pay for everyone’s make up and am allowing them to do whatever they want with their hair. No one has complained.

Not at all!  I was only going to pay for their makeup and not their hair.  Unitl this week I had a stylist crisis and had to scramble for antoher one yesterday with only 8 weeks until my wedding! My original stylist was just doing me and my mom, my girls opted to do their own hair as opposed to paying $85 each to have it professional done.  Well the new stylist has a minimum $ amount to book her which exceeds the cost of just me & mom, and I am stuck so I am now paying for my 2 BM’s hair too 🙁

That’s what I did, and based on their feedback, I gave them the option to pay for their own makeup. They were all really grateful I’ll be paying for hair and about half opted to pay for makeup, so I think it was good to give them the choice.

I think it’s nice of you to pay for their hair. They probably aren’t expecting you to cover the makeup too. Plus, I think hair is a better investment than makeup. It just seems to be what I notice more in photos.
