@minniemluv:  I don’t need it, but I know someone who does. He has been trying to get a jab for several years now, but has only been able to get seasonal work during the holidays, they as a couple have been through one thing after another, their roomates letting the house they were in get foreclosed on leaving them with nowhere to live, thier (her) dog of 10 years dying, buying a car that they had to turn around and put over 1,000 into because it kept dying, her diabetes causing her to get cataracts in both eyes, both his grandparents dying this year and having to ride a greyhound from Florida to Kansas and back for the funerals. I mean really, the saying when it rains, it pours, was meant for them. All this has been in the last year and a half! I can give you his contact ifo if you would like to verify that they are real people. I’m sur it would mean the world to them, he proposed with a ring out of a 25 cent machine.

And I think it is amazing that you are doing such a wonderful thing for others!

Also wanted to add, a thread on the ring section called “Starter ring”, that poster seems to be having a hard time getting a ring within her budget. (Under $100) Maybe msg her!

If I were in this position, I’d probably sell it on eBay and donate the proceeds to a woman’s shelter.

*This is such a good thing you’re doing, OP!!  It’s nice to see people with big hearts.

TO @pinkmermaid72:  I see this is one of your first posts on WBee so a BIG Welcome to “The Hive”

Thing of note… one should NEVER put their real name out in an OPEN FORUM in the Internet… it gives too much info about you away to those who might not be as scrupulous and could use that info against you (in countless ways)

I suggest that you either edit your post (you can do that up to 1 hour from the time you submit it)

OR else ask the WBee Moderators to remove it… and have it posted without your personal info.

You could also send the Original Poster here a PM (personal message) via WBee with your info… just click on the green word MESSAGE that appears beside their name.

Hope this helps, and again, welcome to WBee.

Please keep us updated once you do gift the stone! I know they may not want anyone to know who they are, so just let us know when it is in good hands! 🙂

This really is so sweet of you! What a wonderful gesture. As a PP mentioned, quierajen started a thread about a starter ring; I don’t mean to speak for her, but this could be a (timely) answer to her quandry.
