Hello! I was diagnosed with PCOS about two or three years ago. Your doctor will want you to do a blood test for signs of the condition and other associated conditions (hypothyroidism, prediabetes, etc), and possibly an ultrasound to look for scarring. My condition was found early with minimal scarring, so most of my treatment is aimed at preventing further scarring and regulating my hormone production.

Yes. Diagnosed in my mid teens.

The manifestation of PCOS can be different for everyone. For me it was brutally obvious for my endrocrinologist due to cystic acne, hirsuitism, agony pre and during menstruation, and sudden weight gain.

I think you should go to the Dr. Heck, if I read about cancer online I can see I have some of the symptoms, so you really need to get it checked out before you make any assumptions or panic.

Pcos is a pain in the ass, but not the end of the world.
