Hi all! So, I’m driving myself crazy. I have PCOS and I am on Metformin (have been since July). I say that just to give you background that my periods should be very regular and they have been. Based on last month, I should have gotten AF Tuesday…. I still don’t have it. I’ve taken a few pregnancy tests along the way with the last one being yesterday morning and they are all BFN. I plan to test again Sunday morning if I don’t get AF by then. If my test is negative, I will call the Dr and see if I can get blood work done to double check and see if I really am pregnant. I have seen on many other Boards that quite a few women don’t get their BFP until a week or more after their missed period. I guess I’m just looking to see if anyone has had this happen? Anyone have tests say BFN but blood work comes back positive? Or, has anyone not tested positive until a few days or more after their missed period? Thank you all!

Hi bee. I remember your post from the other day. Did you chart your temps along with your OPKS to confirm ovulation? Some people get a false surge and never O. It’s possible you got a high OPK but an egg didn’t follow.

hi! I didn’t chart my temps, but my dr did also put me on Letrozole to make sure I ovulated and when I got the positive on the opk it was around the time Letrozole should have caused me to ovulate.

I have PCOS and I’m one to not get BFP’s until at least 14-15DPO. And it’ll go from zero on 12DPO to blazing positive by 15DPO. I’d test again this weekend and hopefully you will have your answer. Also, have you tracked before what your LP is? Some only have 12 days from ovulation before AF, others have longer ones of at least two full weeks.

Thank you! It’s reassuring that you had later BFPs.. I have never tracked my LP. I’m very new to this, this is our first month ttc. With this being the first month of really trying and being on Letrozole, I’m not sure if that would skew anything?
