I am thinking of the same color scheme, so I think it’s a great idea πŸ™‚ Also thinking we might be getting married at the same venue from one of your other posts…Casa?

mmm. I don’t think a plum/deep purple would be appropriate for a summer wedding–especially it being in the middle of august. I think becuase purple is such a rich color, that would be more appropriate for a December wedding.

Have you thought about perhaps doing a b&w wedding? That is ALWAYS classic! πŸ˜‰

Very pretty and right now on stylemepretty is a wedding with peaches lying around as the centerpieces amongst flowers.  Very pretty.  Maybe you can find some inspiration there.

Very nice! I think it works out great and for an August wedding. I actually think the colors are great for that time of year since I think of August as an end of summer/beginning of fall month and those two colors together capture that.

I am using eggplant and dark orange for my fall wedding next month. It’s one of those things where your hope it will all look nice when it is all tied together……

katy – I’m using eggplant for my summer wedding! I love deep purple, and it is one of the only colors that will not clash with my venue’s teal and plum walls! I’m still trying to come up with an accent color that makes both Fiance and me happy, but I am loving the eggplant πŸ™‚

Yes! If you would eat a peach and a plum together (I would!) then why not put the colors together? πŸ˜‰

go with it, sounds like a good combination, a darker rich color accented with the softness of peach…as a matter of fact I have two friends that’s named Peach and Plum…Lol!!  They are sisters, isn’t that neat!
