It’s hard to see the gold, but it’s rose gold and morganite with a diamond halo.  And I LOVE the rose gold.  I was always a silver (or white gold) girl, until I saw another ring similar to this and fell in love.

I think that would look gorgeous with rose gold.

PrincessPeach13 :  hmmm.. haven’t heard of “peach gold”, though i wouldn’t be suprised to find out that 18k or 20k rose gold is being called “peach” gold these days (because 18k+ rose gold really looks more peachy, while 14k rose gold has more of a pink tone).

i do know about green gold! My jeweler makes it! She also makes rings out of “brown” gold (which sounds gross – but it’s actually a pretty warm tone, sort of a champagne color).

anyway, i vote setting that baby in 18k rose gold! I love the look of peach stones in rose gold (: also, here’s to some sapphire love! my is blue set in platinum (so i wont post a pic), but yay for not giving into the scam of the diamond industry!

What a beautiful stone! Welcome to the peach sapphire club!

I have a peach sapphire myself and it was set in rose gold – the tones compliment one another very well.

PrincessPeach13 :  it was really pretty! it was sort of both warm and cool at the same time – the “greige” of the jewelry insudtry, if you will (but in a good way). I believe she told me that brown gold was rose mixed with silver (so gold, copper, and silver). green gold is gold and silver…i think brown was the rose gold and silver equivalent

PrincessPeach13 :  Thank you so much! My husband did a great job picking a stone and ring that suited my personality and style. I lovelovelove my ring and always get remarks on how pretty and unique it is – you’re sure to get the same.

Maintenance isn’t bad! The stone can get a little cloudy so I always take it off to apply lotion or hair spray or makeup. I take it for a cleaning every six months and in between I only need occasional touch ups. I use a baby toothbrush with extra soft bristles, warm water, and just a drop of blue dawn dish detergent for an at home cleaning.
