I love sapphires! And I can’t decide what color to choose for this halo setting! I love light peachy pink sapphires and I adore light blue sapphires! I honestly can’t decide! Help! What would you choose and why?

There is a huge spectrum of peach to pink when discussing “peach” sapphires leaning heavily towards pink, in my experience. FH looked for a very long time for a sapphire that was peach rather than pink. If you like pink you’ll have no trouble finding those, but the peach tones seemed to be in short supply.
Regardless, I think a light blue stone will look lovely with the white gold of your setting.

I absolutely adore both colours but I voted light blue due to the white gold setting.

I have a sapphire ring too! Mine is a dark burngundy pink colour in a platinum setting. When I was looking at sapphires I didn’t end up choosing a peach one because I thought it blended in too much with my skin so I went with a color that popped more. I also looked at my wardrobe and the color I choose goes with alomost all of my clothes (the ones it doesn’t go with well I don’t really wear because I don’t like them very much). If you really can’t decide maybe look at your closet and see what color matches your clothes more or if you don’t care about matching go with the color you are most drawn to. I’ve always liked shades of red, pink, peach etc and I’m happy I went with that for my ring. If you are able to see if the jeweller has similar coloured stones that you can place in the setting while you are wearing it. One color might jump out at you more than the other. Which ever color you choose you can’t go wrong. Either colored stone would look great in your setting!

Light blue sapphires always read topaz or aquamarine to me. So if those are your only two options, I vote peachy pink!

I voted for the light blue sapphire because I have one and love it. Especially if that’s your hand in the picture above. You’ve got similar complexion to me and the light blue really pops against olive/light brown skin. You really can’t go wrong either way, though!

loverbeexx : I think you couldn’t go wrong with either but i would choose whatever made my heart happy and coordinates better with my clothing and personality. I love the setting too! Do you mind sharing the designer?

I think peach would go nicely with yellow gold and the light blue sapphire would go nicely with white gold. Just my opinion. 🙂

With that setting I would go with a light blue. Have you ever thought of rose gold? With your skin tone it would be beautiful! Here’s a photo for perspective:

I have a light blue sapphire, so that is how I voted, but I am totally biased! I love my ice blue, but all sapphires are beautiful. I actually have a friend that got an ice blue as well after seeing mine, and it was set in a similar setting and it looked fantastic! So that is what I would go with!
