I have been trying to plan our colors and have been trying to seperate myself from teal because I cannot find the right shade for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses 🙁 I have decided to use the colors in a peacock feather (but not any actual feathers): teal and purple with lime accents. I really want to incorporate orange lilies to add contract (and they are my favorites
I cannot decided what teal to work with… dark teal, light teal, aqua, torquiose, the list goes on…
Or to work with a bright purple or a more muted one. Our wedding is in July and a beautiful Museum in Norfolk, VA. Any suggestions?

Pantone has a great website for putting colors together. Check it out and see if it’s any help http://www.dessy.com/pantone/gallery/ It’s called Wedding Inspiration Styleboard Gallery and I believe you can build your own styleboard.
There was bright purple and lime green on the front page, one of my favorite combinations. Torquoise, aqua, teal – all those peacock colors are so luscious. I see your dilema!

what color teal are you looking for?? that’s the color I chose and we went with this dress… if you read the reviews, people said it’s teal. when they arrived, they were the perfect color!! they’ll even mail you a sample before you order them… here’s the dress and below is a similar shade of what they actually are. they’re from thelimited.com
we’re going with corals, peaches, and ivory for the flowers. orange lillies are a fav of mine too!! here are some of my inspiration pics:
