I’m new to the boards and recently engaged! I wanted to do a peacock theme for my wedding and incorporate feathers into the bouquets. Do you think a small peacock feather for the guys Boutonnieres is going to be too much? What flower would you use in the color scheme of teal and green instead?

I don’t think a feather for the bouts will be too much. Feathers come in a lot of sizes – you can get them with eyes that are 1 inch wide or eyes that are 3 inches wide. You coulud do a small feather coupled with a green calla lily.

A friend of mine got married last November and she used peacock feathers, and it make out amazing! My recommendation is to keep the other decorations simple and classic, that way the feathers really POP!
