Okay, so I am planning my wedding, peacock colored!
I want the girls to wear royal blue and then use purple and turquiose accents. Has anyone used this color schemed and would be willing to send pictures?? I got busy busy planning and now am having trouble seeing it all together – and I’m getting nervous!
I have the girls in royal blue. I’m wanting them to have white boquets and me have turquiose, royal, and purple flowered boquet. I have centerpiece squares of purple and turquoise, and have 3 different centerpieces: peacock tree w hanging candles, hurricane vases with candles, and tall vases with peacock feathers.
We’re doing wedding and reception at same location and will have the ceremony with everyone seated at their tables for the night. It’s a little un-traditional, but we loved it!
We’ll have an aisle runner to define the ceremony space that runs into an arch that is in the middle of two spiral-ish stairways. The wedding parties will go up the stairs during the ceremony.
Any suggestions/help with pictures of ideas would be appreciated! I think it will be nice I’m just getting nervous now that I’m trying to imagine it all together…
Thanks in advance! 🙂

Hey!! I have those colors/theme as well. My bridesmaids are wearing royal blue and jade green. Same for flower girls. My Maid/Matron of Honor will wear purple. I will use royal blue, purple and gold in most decorations/flowers.
I made my own feather bouttouniers, and head pieces for bridesmaids and flower girls
See these posts:
Bouttouniers (I made changes to this one, need new pictures)
Headpiece Maid/Matron of Honor or Me (not sure yet)
Headbands Flower girls
Garter (I made changes to this one, need new pictures)
I bought my feathers at http://www.featherstore.com, best quality and price.
And will also be decorating my invitations with feathers. I am still on the planning part (Wedding is March 2012) but we should keep in touch to exchange ideas!!

I love the idea of a peacock inspired wedding, I was so close to doing it. I love the colour combo of purple, navy and turquoise brought together by peacock feathers. Have fun with it! Don’t hold back!
@peacockchris: awesome job on the DIY peacock projects!

Hey fellow peacock brides!! So glad I found you so that we can all get ideas from one another. I am doing a cyan blue for my bridesmaids dresses with blue orchids and green orchids in the boquet. The guys are wearing a willow green and then I am throwing in some fall accents in our decor. I think it will be great!
