So I stumbled across a pb pasta recipe last night. And I’m extremely interested. I think it sounds amazing and wonderful. My husband says he’s had it and it’s okay – nothing special. A friend accused me that I MUST be pregnant to want such a crazy dish.
So have any of you had it? If so, did you like it?

Like, pasta with a peanut butter sauce? Because that’s totally doable. But a pasta made with peanut butter? eh.

I imagine its not very strong tasting. I have had all sorts of different flavored pastas and usually its barely noticeable . I have had tomato, spinach, chocolate linguinis to name a few. Mostly its just color as opposed to flavor.
But Ill try anything once!

Are you talking peanut noodles? If so, I think they are delish and SO requests them quite a bit. I use angel hair pasta, and toss the cold pasta noodles with a peanut butter sauce (usually has honey, sesame oil, water, and soy sauce in it) So tasty!

peanut butter noodles is an asian dish, if we’re talking about the same thing
i use angel hair pasta as well, and then rinse them in cold water, then drain.
peanut butter sauce is peanut butter, water, soy sauce, and some sesame oil. i also shred some (raw) carrots, cucumber, ham, and scrambled eggs, and mix it all together. very yummy!

Ah, yes – peanut noodles! These are all similar to the recipes I’ve found.
@ebet24: That’s one of the recipes that I looked at last night!
I don’t know if I’ll like it. I imagine it tasting a certain way, and it probably won’t, but I’m going to try it. =)

One of our local Thai restaurants (not my fave) literally melts warm creamy Jiffy onto their peanut sauce dishes. I haven’t been brave enough to try it.

So, basically it’s like Thai food. Sounds AMAZING!
