I love the idea of peanuts and coke!  Well, soda at least, I don’t drink coke.  Its such a great snack though.  I think it looks cute as is, no need to do anything else to it in my opinion.  Aaaaand, now I want peanuts, great 🙂

My only concern is that on your RSVPs you inquire about nut allergies as I know some people can have serious problems if they are even in the presence of peanuts. If it is a problem maybe something else in the bag like popcorn or a type of local candy? homemade cookies?

Aside from that concern, i love it!

If no one is allergic then def. the peanuts! Otherwise I would maybe look for some sort of local cookie or candy that is popular in  your part of TX. I googled texas cookies and found a ton of recipes for “texas ranger” or “Cowboy” cookies. Is there a good bakery in town that would be a cheap enough for an option to do a cookie or two?

Like I said, I love the peanut idea because they are the only nuts I am allowed to eat!

Side note, FI loooooooves the Mexican coke. He would be going crazy over those treats!

This is such a cute idea! If I got a glass coke I would be so pumped – I occassionally treat myself to some and always get super excited about it when I do lol

I LOVE peanuts in my coke. My coke of choice is RC, but a Coke Zero works if there isn’t an RC available.

Will this coke be cold?  Just wondering?

Also, I’d use a tag to specify that the bag is peanuts because some people might not want to eat them right away and a tag would save them the hassle of having to open and re-close the bag/ribbon again!

You could maybe use a “western” style font on the bags. Or maybe make little, old timey western signs that say “peanuts” and hang them around the bows?

You might add a thank you label to the bags.  There are some really great free templates at weddingchicks.com.  You might check around about peanut allergies, or include on the rsvp that peanuts will be being served.
