kcoast:  All of those rings are amazing!  My pear is a little different because it’s a bezel setting and it actually sits up pretty high but I don’t ever really notice because it’s got a cathedral likeness to it as well.  Also, please pay no attention to my ugly nails, it’s been a long week :p

I think my vote is for ring #1. I really like rings that are a little lower, but probably since I’m a klutz and am always catching them on something. Here’s mine, which I’m finally getting to officially wear since we got engaged last week!

lookingahead:  Love the band on your ring! Wow! Also, congrats!

OP: thanks! It’s morganite and I love it! It took a long time for me to decide on it, I’m not normally one to wear a lot of pink so I was surprised by how much I love it! Especially how delicate the colour is (compared to how peachy it tends to look in rose gold settings, which is most common)

i like ring 3, i love halo setting. but I believe one of the question you should ask before buying halo is, is it share prong or not, if it is a share prong you should skip it. I have a halo diamond ring with share prongs. its a pain in the neck because i lost stones almost every month. it went over 3 repairs and now it just sit in jewelry box.  remember to ask for repair policy too.

kcoast:  I love your options! #2 looks a lot like mine from the side but I love both #2 and #3! The only thing about #3 is that its so tall, I just got mine and I’m having a hard time getting used to not catching it on things and it’s shorter than #3. But I’m sure you could do it if you think it’s worth that! They’re all beautiful! This is mine, I don’t know if it helps but I’m just so excited to have it haha! I love pears!

kcoast:  I haven’t had any real problems with it, and I’m already getting better! Just go with your favorite and I’m sure you’ll adjust! After having it for a couple days I don’t think height should be a huge factor in deciding anymore.

I have a single halo pear with a wrap around band. Cathedral style with three peekaboo diamonds at the side

Oh they are all very pretty but I would go with one that you can wear a straight band with (I may be biased!) Here’s mine on its own, with wedding band and the jeweller pic so you can see the undercarriage 🙂
