My engagement ring is a small and dainty pear shaped diamond with a halo. We are getting married next summer, and have begun the search for wedding bands. I have tried a few on, and haven’t really liked what I’ve seen. Also, none of the sample rings I’ve tired fit me, so I can’t really get a good idea. I’m wondering if anyone has a pear shaped ring and wedding band that I could see for inspiration? Thanks! I’ve attached a photo of my ring with the wedding band I liked most. I know it’s probably a lot smaller than what a lot of you all have, but I love it so much. Also, please excuse my hands, one finger is wicked crooked from a bad break a few years ago, and I have a farm animal sanctuary, so manicures are a waste of time and money. (I have no idea why this pic is so big, or how to change it)

I recommend pairing it with a chevron (v) shaped band or an open band
When your wedding band also ends in a point, the narrow triangle gapping between the rings looks intentional rather than, “I couldn’t find a band that fits”

I really like this band as well, it goes well with the engagement ring. Can you fit a band flush with the ER or does it need to be curved like you have posted?

That’s pretty, but the tip of the pear would look better pointed up rather than down. And your ring is no smaller than most people here. Plenty of women prefer the delicate look.

I actutally prefer it this way. I have tried both ways, and have happily worn it this way for three months now.
A band will fit under it, but the shank tapers towards the halo and diamond, so while a band sits flush under it, it doesn’t sit flush against it.

I love your choice of band! I agree with you on the placement of the pear’s point. They look terrific together.

I love love pears with a criss cross bands or infinity bands

I like the band you have in the picture. I paired my pear (I’m hilarious) with a thin pave band. I wear mine opposite yours. If I put my band on the point side of my pear it has quite a gap.

Dainty rings are white hot! I love the twist band!

What a lovely ring that criss cross is! I only really like plain metal for wedding rings , but l do like that criss cross .
OP, have you considered a plain white gold wedding ring in the same style as the shank of your engagement ring?

I agree.. a chevron does compliment a pear..
