My wedding look is like the 1940’s Old Hollywood Glam. I’m wearing a short strapless champagne dress with a pearl and rhinestone brooch in the middle.
I’d like to wear a fishnet/russian birdcage veil. Do you think it’s too much to wear pearl earrings, necklace, and bracelet. I’d like to wear a fascinator with the veil. Is it too much to wear a pearl/rhinestone fascinator too? Suggestions please so that I don’t overaccessorize.
Here’s my dress

Ooh, I hope you get it to post, because I’m excited to see!

Your dress and wedding sound gorgeous. If you’re going to do a pearl and rhinestone fascinator I would skip the necklace and stick with pearl studs instead of the traditional dangly bridal earrings. A pearl bracelet would compliment really nicely too!

I’m wearing all pearl accesories, and I don’t think it’s soo much, but it would be easier to say if you had a picture!
Can you try posting it up here again, or posting a link to the picture?

Hard to know without pics. Do you mean middle of the neckline or waist for the brooch? If the waist, I think a short, simple strand of uniform larger pearls (not graded) would look great along with pearl studs. But personally I would go with a different fascinator, maybe feather? This would definitely give you the old hollywood look, but make everthing feel a bit lighter. I think simple jewelry really adds the finishing touch (and definitely the Hollywood Glam).
For the fascinator, maybe like this:

I myself was starting to question whether I was going overboard on accessories…long story short, I have been told by multiple people this is the one day that if you are going to go all out- just do it. You will look beautiful. I have never heard anyone say, boy that bride has too many accessories!

Thanks for all the feedback.
I don’t know how to add to my original posting but here’s my dress. I don’t have an image of the brooch. The brooch would go right under my chest (like empire waist)

I think with your dress, pearls will be perfect. The simplicity gives you a great canvass to accesorize around!

I believe it was Coco Chanel who said that every woman, before she leaves her home, should look in the mirror and remove one accessory. My suggestion would be to try it all on together, it may be too much and if so, remove one! Good luck!

RIbride said exactly what I was going to say.
Are your earrings drop like the one in the picture? If so, I would ditch them for studs so that it doesn’t look strange with every other pearl thing going on by your face.
I don’t think you’ll need the bracelet

lol, i’m terrible at accessories… if i were going by coco chanel, i would have to look in the mirror every morning and take off my glasses, my watch or my engagement ring!
i like the feather fascinator idea!
