Yay!  Pearl rings!  I have a pearl ring, too!  It is a pretty soft stone, and I work in research (which means not wearing it in lab because of harsh chemicals and working with my hands a lot) I stopped wearing it to work after a while cause I had to take it off a billion times a day.  I’m sure that if I worked in a different environment, it would be fine to wear all the time. I don’t regret getting one for a second, though!  Now that I’m married, I just wear the wedding band, but I totally plan on wearing my e-ring for special occasions!  And now for some pictures!

To cochinealred … your ring is amazing, plus the design will stop the pearl from getting damaged… genius!

I have quite a lot of pearls, but I don’t wear my ring really as it’s too soft and I’m too clumsy. I do have a 15mm set of rice pearl drop earrings I got on ebay for under £10 (bargain) which I wear a lot though, and I have some lovely pearls I bought from the pearl divers in south east asia.

@Dreamer_111:  Yeah I grew up thinking my stone was Alexandrite but I much prefer the pearl. My mom just told me for my sister’s high school graduation she’s getting a pearl ring made up to match her pearl set that my grandmother gave her so I plan on posting a picture when she gets it!

I also love pearls.  This was a gift from Fiance.

Here’s mine 🙂 It’s not my engagement ring, but I wear it sometimes on my right hand. It was my mother’s.

this is my e-ring

and like happypup I plan on taking it off after the wedding and using it for special ocaccions. If everything turns out as planned, I might even get a little diamong ring on my wedding day together with the wedding band :crossingfingers:

Here is mine 🙂

I wear it every day, only taking it off to do things like wash up.

It is surprisingly sturdy, incredibly sturdy infact. I have no worries at all about it breaking any time soon!

I have a pearl ring from Turtle Love Co.  It’s really pretty and has a matching wedding band.  I wouldn’t wear the set for everyday, because it’s silver and pearls are soft.  Pearls are my birthstone too, so I like having the option.
