So bees, something I have realised is that I am stupidly obsessed with pearls on/with wedding dresses. I would say I’m biased because my dress is covered in them but I was gravitating towards them the whole time I was dress shopping. So here we go, I thought I’d share some on my favs and would LOVE to see any other pearl dresses or thoughts and comments.
Mine!! I didn’t know what it was when I bought it but a bee found it for me so it’s Rosa Clara Soft – Vancouver if anyone is interested 🙂

What you just said.!
All are lovely though there is something about the back of that Sherri Hill that makes me think skeletons…………

LOVE pearls, and I love Rosa Clara. Your dress is stunning, bee!

Thank you Bees 🙂 🙂 she comes in soon and I’m super excited 😀
elderbee: Haha now all I can see in the Sherri Hill one is a skeleton, I think it’s because the middle looks likea spine lol!
garnobella: I also love Rosa Clara, the Victoria was another one of my faves but as much as I loved it there was too much lace for me!
pengoala: I also LOVE the back of the Mori Lee, if the overall dress had been a bit fuller I could’ve seen myself in it.
Considering the ones I posted were all form fitting I figured it’s only fair to give some ballgowns some action.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE pearls. My grandapa gave me a pearl necklace right before he passed, I plan to wear it for my wedding! All of the dressess you have posted are amazing!

seegee: Something else I love about your dress is that the pearl detail is so obvious. There are a lot of stunning dresses with amazing lacework, beading, and pearls, and they are a work of art up close. But from a distance, that amazing detail gets lost. Yours doesn’t. I want to wear pearls for my wedding, just don’t know what. I have a single string of pearls that were my mum’s (it was a double but she made them two singles) and a double string from my Fiance. He also have me a pearl and diamond ring my for birthday one year, SO pretty!

elderbee: Seriously! I’m still dying over that dress. I’d never be able to pull it off (damn that baby belly haha) but luckily for me, my wedding already happened. 😉
seegee: These second set of dresses you posted are basically the dream dresses I had for my wedding day! As it turned out, the A-line/ballgown styled dresses just swallowed me up! I was so bummed. Oh well. Next life! 🙂

I love pearls! It’s my birthstone and I wear it any time I can. so when I went wedding dress shopping and the consultant gave me a dress with pearls on it (and a bunch of other things I love) I just about died and went to heaven. Below is my dress from the store I bought it at (it’s a private label dress, unique to the boutique I purchased it from) but a model from the boutique is wearing it. I have a couple of pictures of myself but they don’t show any details because I kept moving like a 5 year old 🙄.
front of dress. It has pearl and crystal all over the sheer V between the boobs, crystal and pearl belt (😍) and pearls scattered on the sheer hip area.
I think is also has pearls where the tulle later startS. But I can’t remember. I was thinking of wearing a pearl necklace that hangs low in the back because the back of the dress comes way lower on me (Small frame)
Yay for pearls! I absolutely love all of the dresses you posted OP! the one you chose is to DIE for. It’s stunning!

kelmpm7809: That is amazingly beautiful, want a wonderful way to have him with you on your day 🙂
garnobella: I know, it’s such a shame when beautiful detailing gets lost. I think that’s why dresses with coloured lining have become so popular because they show off the details. Tough decision with which pearls to wear, feel free to.post pics if you want help 🙂
Natalie101985: Agreed! I love the pearls on that one, so delicate and lovely!
pengoala: Haha I had exactly the same ballgown experience. I only ever put one on and I was actually laughed at lol. Luckily I was laughing with them, it looked like I was being eaten!!!
ladyvictoria: Thank you so much bee 😀
mrsoreo2b: Oh bee, wow wow wow!! That dress is amazing!!! What a fantastic find 😍 I also moved around a lot when people took photos of me in dresses lol! Loving the idea of pearls hanging low at the back. Thank you so much for your kind words on my special dress ☺
mrsbullwinkle: LOVE!! They look awesome together 😍😍 Do you mind sharing your dress and veil details?

garnobella: Just had to add that what you said about detailing is also why I was drooling over Maggie Sottero – Donna (sorry everyone else, no pearls on this one I don’t think) – I feel like the detailing doesn’t get lost
BUT I did somehow completely forget about Macao by Aire Barcelona. Very similar to mine so obviously I love it lol!!
