I saw some beautiful pieces on Etsy and I’m not sure what look I want for my wedding. It doesn’t really matter to me -as long as I look pretty and the look is complete. Some details- intimate destination wedding on a tropical island (but will not be a tropical looking wedding). This is the dress (has a small rhinestone-ish belt I think):
For the veil, I’m considering using either a fingertip mantilla or a cathedral raw edge(the raw edge is here but have not tried nor bought the mantilla yet).
Rhinestone earrings (this means I won’t wear a necklace or possibly a very very simple diamond necklace I have- literally a chain with a small 0.17carat diamond solitaire)
ii) Art deco
Option 2 (Pearl necklaces with matching earrings)
v) Statement pearl necklace
Sorry for the huge pictures btw. I resized them but they still turn out huge!

I picked the first set of earrings. I really liked the first pearl necklace, but I was thinking there might be too much going on with that necklace and the dress.

Thanks. I’m also leaning towards the first set but the pearl ones look pretty too and I was afraid that my dress (while is sort of ornate as it’s lace, is still kinda plain) would look boring with a raw edge cathedral veil

I looooooooooooooooooooooove pearls and think they’re the perfect bridal accessory. I think the first pearl set would be amazing.
However, if you do end up deciding to go with rhinestones, I would go with the first ones. I think the art deco ones are too geometric for your very organic dress.

i like the pearl necklaces. #4 or #5 would look beautiful with your neckline but then wear only pearl studs as not to take away from the necklace. the first 2 pics are beautiful too but then wear a simple necklace. think about what you would possibly wear again??
you choose. do you prefer larger earrings or larger necklace? i think #3 is pretty separately but too much all together. i always find that when you wear big earrings and a big necklace, they compete against each other.

I’d go with the first set of earrings and no necklace.

I think the raw edge veil would be gorgeous… I”m also a lace bride and leaning towards that veil so I’m partial! lol I also love the idea of a statement earing like the rhinestone with no necklace to not take anything away from that gorgeous dress and neckline!
But its entirely what makes you feel best! All of the options are gorgeous! And I’m still IN LOVE with your dress!!!

I don’t care for the pearl sets actually… too “prommy” to me. I LOVE the second set of earrings, and I feel like you could wear them again to a holiday party, or New Years Eve for example.

I love both the first and the second set of earrings. Personally, I would skip the necklace with your dress (which is gorgeous btw!).

@redband: I love that first pearl necklace, but I don’t love the matching earrings. So I vote for the first pearl necklace, but a different set of pearl earrings.
Maybe with a simpler earring like this?

I think I like the artdeco ones ! I am actually surprised by how I think it would look great ! It works with the sparkles on your dress 🙂

I wouldn’t wear a necklace with the dress personaly, and I think the art deco earring would look stunning with that gown. I think the shape and design of them would be perfect with the lace on your dress.

@KeyWest114: Absolutely agree!

@WolvLove: Thank you! It makes me feel better when you say that as I like my dress a lot but I see such beautiful dresses here and in magazines everyday that sometimes I think my dress is just boring 😀
Thanks for all your feedback guys. I guess pearls are out of the window and it will be a statement rhinestone necklace instead:)

I personally do not think your dress needs a necklace
