I try hard not to snoop on C&B or Williams-Sonoma; however, since Bloomingdale’s never keeps anything in stock, I check that one daily.

Trying hard DOES NOT EQUAL succeeding. I figure it’s fair as long as I don’t know who bought what (i.e., no Thank You Note Manager peeking).

I love that noon said they want it to be a surprise! hehe

I checked mine yesterday and saw that someone bought my guest room bed set and I was so excited.

I check daily.  I figure, so long as I don’t know who bought it there’s still some surprise, no?

We are not having any showers or anything so I doubt there will be much movement until right before the wedding.  Until then we are still trying to get the registry more finished.  The only things that have been purchased were the pot and pan set because they were on closeout and it was really worth it with all the discounts.

I check mine all the time!  My fiance says it’s cheating.  But, I figure since I don’t know who bought it, it’s not cheating at all!  I mean, we registered for it, so obviously we know people are going to buy it for us!

I checked mine all the time. Honestly, I think it’s better to keep an eye on it anyway. You want to be sure that it’s always balanced with a variety of price points for guests to make it easier on them.

Plus, you don’t know WHO got you what, so that was always a surprise. The hubs and I would try to guess, and we were almost never right ๐Ÿ™‚

I figured, I registered, so it’s not going to be a surprise anyway! ๐Ÿ™‚

I got really excited about our KitchenAid mixer, when our full luggage set got completed, and our fancy coffee maker (and our wine glasses, but that’s because I’m a wine-o).

I check our list to see what’s been pruchased. ๐Ÿ™‚  It does make me feel a little sneaky, but it’s still a surprise since I don’t know who’s giving us what!

I check every day…but I have a reason!  I have double registered for a lot of things because my FI’s family is in an area of the country where there are few national chain stores.  Instead, I registered for the same thing at 2 places and have been checking for purchases so I can remove duplicates from the other registry!  It’s kind of confusing, and probably makes me seem greedy, but I wanted to accommodate all the older guests (from both sides) who don’t feel comfortable making internet purchases…

I’m sure I won’t be able to keep myself from checking everyday. Mostly I want to make sure we have enough stuff, though.

I did it all the time.  I felt bad in the beginning though when I saw everything my mom had bought for us.  It was especially bad because she bought us so much and my dad had just been laid off at the time.  I felt bad that she spent all this money on us when she shouldn’t have.
