Future Mrs. S – you did a GREAT job! This was gorg.

We are having our reception there in Sept on labor day weekend and I MUST know where you got those stringed lights. Would you consider letting me know, or even reselling them?

Thanks!

I’m looking for a beach site AND reception venue to have for my wedding next year! I was looking to have it in Cocoa Beach. How much was it for this venue?

Do they allow outside catering?

Thanks!

Your wedding was very well done! πŸ™‚

Hi!!

I’m so excited i found this. I JUST found PBCH and I am in LOVE. My fiance and I just moved from NY to FL, and decided to hold our wedding down here and so it has to be a beach wedding. We’re not far from Cocoa Beach but haven’t yet found a place that fits us. This place seems close to ideal, and we’re going to hopefully ,rent it and nail down a date for November 2014.

I’d love to know how many people you all had in your weddings there and how comfortable it was?

If any of you were able to put up tents or awnings outside – would you be able to share how you did it or what company, if any, you used? I’d love the help!

Thanks!!

@hross87:  I’m having my wedding at PBCH too and have similar questions. It looks like in the 4th pic down from future.mrs.schechter there is a tent on the deck. Were you thinking about covering the deck or the sandy area out front? I wanted to do something to cover the deck if it rains, but can’t find any good companies in the area. How many people were you planning on?

We booked the clubhouse for March 1, 2014 and are at 60 people right now. The max we want to have is 64 but that will be adding an extra table which is a tight squeeze.

Candita, we’re getting married at PBCH too πŸ™‚ on March 29, 2014! We have 70 ppl invited, but are hoping on 64, so we can get away with 8 round tables. Do you have any idea yet of how you are setting the tables and everything? We’re having the ceremony on the beach (hopefully its a low tide!), then cocktail hour with appetizzers on the deck and then buffet style dinner inside. We’re probably doing the dance floor on the deck, as I doubt there would be much space left inside. And I pretty much figured out the table plan as well.

@ivana203:  I’m still not sure how we’re setting up the tables. I was thinking about doing round tables on the left side (like the above photos) and then doing a few long ones down the center. I guess have the buffet right in front of the kitchen? I’m not sure… we need to drive back out and do some playing around with the actual tables. We’re also going to have cocktail on the deck, and corn hole on the sandy area. I’m actually debating between have the ceremony on the beach or the parking lot. If we do it on the concrete we can use their chairs and still see the ocean but I don’t know if it would look ugly haha.

How are you setting up the tables inside?

@Candita:  Yea setting up everything for a beach ceremony is pretty expensive, but I wanna have it no matter what πŸ™‚ I don’t know about the ceremony on the parking lot, I think you’d probably be the first to do it lol But I think one girl had their chairs on the beach, maybe you could ask them, if they would let you do it for an extra pay? We’re having the buffet in the same place as you do and for tables we’re having 4 round ones placed to the left side as well and 4 sticking out towards the center plus in the middle at the left wall/window side is where we’re having a rectangular one (hope you get the idea :))

Corn hole is a great idea, maybe I’ll add that too πŸ™‚

@Candita: What about catering? We were thinking of Two chicks and a pot, but I just got an email from them that their prices start at 27$ pp…  thought it woud be half of that price! They will let us know, if there’s anything they could offer.

@ivana203:  Catering was stressing me out! We knew we wanted bbq but tried a few of the local restaurants that cater and just didn’t like them, so we decided to go with Sonny’s. It’s insanely cheap and I know everyone will love it. It’s $8.75 pp for 2 meats, 3 sides, bread/butter, drinks, paper products and utensils with on site catering. We’re going to get nicer plates/utensils so it doesn’t look too tacky haha.

I actually spoke with 2 chicks and they were able to get down to a price of $15 pp for me, but that was only salad, 2 entrees (one of them being pasta), 2 sides, and bread. No drinks, no china, and drop off instead of full service. As much as I’ve heard great things about there food, I just didn’t think it was worth it. They are really sweet though, so I’m sure once you speak with them they will come up with something that works for you.
