I don’t live in nearby, but here in Oklahoma we had similar rules. We had to pick up our license at least 30 days before we got married, and it had to be turned in 5 days after.

When we picked it up, the clerk informed us that both of us do not need to be present, BUT my county in Oklahoma had both of us sign the license beforehand (My new married name + my husband’s name), and apparently we’re the only county in Oklahoma that does that, so I don’t know if they would have you sign the license beforehand or not.

Definitely ask when you guys pick up, I don’t think both of you need to be there.

I was alone when I picked up ours.  Might depend on the county, I’m not sure.

Yes I’m in PA. After the 3 day waiting period, you can pick up the license and have the ceremony that day.  I’m pretty sure you don’t HAVE to pick it up exactly on the 3rd day but you sill must use it within 60 days after the issuing date.

Also, in our county the licenses could be mailed out to you.

We live in Norristown Pa and when we applied for our license the gave it to us right away. The process only took about 45 minutes!!!! Hope that helps 🙂
