I know that the McGuire’s/Flounders caters and I love their food!  I’m not from Pensacola but we used to vacation there a lot!

I got married in that area last month & instead of using  a caterer we used a restaurant & the pricing was SO much better! We used BluePoint, they’re located in Destin. The set up they did was excellent, they brought the buffet tables, table cloths, silverware & plates. So if you’re working on a tight budget as I was, I definitely reccomend looking into having it catered by a restaurant! Good Luck!

there are some great inexpensive outdoor reception sites in pensacola! seville square, plaza de luna (where the bayfront used to be) and bartrum park are all only $100 to rent for the entire day, and that includes water and electric.

also, from the last time i checked, if you book old christ church you get the musuem of commerce free for your reception. we are using that as our backup to seville square in case of bad weather.

We’ve got a great photographer, a place to have the ceremony and reception, flowers are going to be DIY and we think we’re using an ipod versus hiring a DJ… but we’re still looking for a caterer, a DOC, and an officiant.  Any ideas or references would be appreciated.
