Can you show me your peony bouquets?
I was thinking of getting silk flowers from here and doing something like this

I’ve checked everywhere for fresh prices, and the cheapest I can find them is $380 for 100 stems vs $36 for 6 silk stems. I don’t need 100 stems. If I did, I would go the real route since it would be cheaper to do it that way.

π Thank you for starting this thread!! I love these flowers, and I’m planning on having them for our May beach wedding!
I found this picture off the internet just by googling, but this is my inspiration bouquet!

We are using a local florist here and having them delivered to the condo. Not sure of the price just yet, though! Good luck in your search π

I’m using clay flowers for my bouquet. I just bought this one off etsy last night for less than $100!

Maybride2bee : Would you mind sharing the name of the etsy seller that you bought the clay bouquet from? Its so pretty! I would love to see a picture of you holding it when you receive it! It’s so hard to tell how big it will be by just seeing the flowers by themselves.
Miss Tattoo – I actually ordered the 6 for $36 from that site that you listed (fioribelli) and I was a little disapointed. They definately looked more “fake” then I thought they would. It’s not that I am trying to pass them off as real or anything, but I felt like the quality was lacking a little. They don’t feel “silk”, they feel like paper. I had originally ordered 2 bunches, but I returned one and then kept the other in hopes of finding better quality silk peonies that I can mix them with. Here’s a pic of me holding them right after I took them out of the box (just bunched them together real quick):

EDIT: Stupid question – How do I get people’s names to be blue/bold when i respond directly to them?

I would think you could buy a few stems from a florist too? Maybe you can call a few and ask. Even wedding florists are usually open to the public fo other arrangements too…
I just wanted to say I LOVE peonies! They are definitely my favorite flower. I think I might have ivory with freesia and roses. They also signify a happy marriage too π

My mother use to have a peony bush, but she moved away from that house. Ugh!
