(Closed) People OTHER than the New Parents announcing baby’s arrival?!

  • poll: Facebook: rude for someone to post before new parents announce baby?

    Rude: New parents should have the first post announcing their baby

    Not rude: as long as they don't announce name/gender/weight etc

    Not rude: no matter what they post - all "congrats" should be accepted gratefully!

    This is precisely why my mother will not find out I’m pregnant until the kid starts kindergarten.

    @Sugaree:  lol!

    I worry about this and I would be pretty upset if someone shared our big news before we get a chance.  But luckily my family has been pretty good at keeping things off FB (engagement, pregnancy, baby’s gender) until I’ve had a chance to announce things myself… they know me pretty well (or should I say, they know I will be effing pissed!).
