HOLY CRAP! I CANNOT believe the price differences!! We’re getting married in Ontario and paying $90 per person…we’re doing 9 different appetizer “stations” (with enough food that it’s basically dinner), at 3 from each per person, and an open bar, and paying $90pp. This also includes all our linens, rentals, etc…..

Venue is in Napa Valley.  Still makes me want to pass out, but $250 a plate for food & drink only (passed hors d’oeuvres, plated 3 course dinner, cake, open bar with top shelf liquor). That means taxes, gratuity, venue fees, bar/bartender fees, etc. all get added on separately, which makes it more like $370pp at the end of the day.  Why we thought it would be a good idea to get married in one of the most expensive locations in the U.S. I have no idea.

I’m getting married in Savannah, GA and we’re paying $25-$30/ plate but thats just for food. The cocktail hour, bar etc.. is per consumption.

We live in L.A and there was no way we could afford the prices here!

It’s all going to depend on what I order. I think the cheapest beef option is $30/plate and the chicken was around $26. Meal only. 1-1/2hr of cocktails is $15/person.

@MsBrooklynA:We’re in NE Texas.  Ours if $22 per plate.  That includes 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, salad, 4 sides or vegetables, bread, tea, water & coffee.  All linens included.  All alcohol is extra.  It’s at a Country Club and it cost $1,000 for the rooms and of course you have to pay the club membership or have a member sponcer you.

I am paying $45 per plate which includes unlimited salad, bread, main dish, two sides, open bar for 5 hours. This is also paying for the staff who will serve the meal and tend to my guests all evening. I am curious to see what other bees are paying!
