Alright ladies, maybe you remember my post a few weeks ago about my AWFUL manicure experience? Well I finallygot around to fixing them and I wanted to share my perfect manicure with you guys, because it’s super easy to do at home, and looks like you paid for it!
First you need a Kiss French Wrap Kit:
These french wraps glue on to the tip of your nail. They come in short and long depending on the length of your nails. I like the short ones better, but this time I used the long ones because my nails are still long from the acrylic tips. Once you glue the wrap on you should file down any excess glue and anything that hangs off your natural nail. If the wrap isn’t flush with your nail it will chip.
Once you’ve done all of your nails you can start painting. I use Gelish because it’s easy to do and seals the wraps, PLUS it looks so shiny and lasts weeks.
Then follow the gelish instructions (ph bond first, then foundation coat, then UV lamp, then top coat and another UV lamp, and then cure with rubbing alcohol).
MAKE SURE you DO NOT get gelish on your cuticles and skin, because this will cause the gelish to peel and it wont’ last as long. Paint ALMOST to the cuticle leaving a tiny bit of space. And don’t do it too thick.
Here is the finished product:
This isn’t as good as it usuallty looks because the acrylics were underneath which you can kind of see near the nail bed/cuticle, and some of the acrylics were really crooked, but still looks way better than my nails looked before. Professional look without the cost. Sure to get all of the supplies to do this it costs a bit, but eventually it really does pay for itself. I probably have spent like $100 on my nail lamp, gelish polish, and the french wrap kits, BUT I would spent that in 5 times (or less) at the salon, and I’ve done mine 30 or more times at home! 🙂
