I’m planning to make my own invitations, and would like to have all of the reception details bound into a pocket fold type thing (think something like this: http://www.paperandmore.com/products/cards/backing/metallic/index_a7.html but with a front cover). I’ve seen perforated reception RSVP postcards bound into the invitation folder, would like to repeat this look, and am wondering what type of product to use to do this?
So far I’ve come up w two ideas:
1.) Buy perforated postcards that are split in quarters and only use two of every sheet of 4, so that the unused card is cut to about 1″ and bound into the fold so that the postcard can be torn away from the pocket fold (product would be something like this http://www.thepapermillstore.com/perforated-paper/postcards/pf26)
2.) Buy some cardstock and attempt to self-perforate using a sewing machine?
Any better ideas out there? Seems like this shouldn’t be that hard to figure out and maybe there’s a standard name for what I’m after that I can’t think of, hence my inability to successfully google this one.
