Ugh, I feel for you.  I also get nauseous around too much perfume.  The other day on the train a girl sat next to me wearing some kind of scent and it was like I was allergic to her, I couldn’t stop sneezing!

Is it possible for you to talk to your boss about it?  Maybe they can gently let her know that her perfume is affecting those around her.

We have a ton of clients in and out all day and my head swarms.. i try to keep a vanilla scented candle or febreeze on my desk to over power the icky other smells

I LOVE perfume. I feel naked without it. With that said, though, I am conscious of my coworkers. I only wear light scents to work and try not to put on too much. If you wear the same perfume for any length of time, your nose becomes desensitized to it, so your natural reaction is to apply more so you can smell it. Not good for those around you, though.

I’d be annoyed if someone asked me to stop wearing it. My one coworker IS sensitive to perfume and I asked her if the way I smell bothers her and she said no. It’s all about not overdoing it. Maybe you could have a talk w. your coworker in a nice way and ask her to tone it down a bit. See if that helps.
