I think anything is possible when your body is trying to correct itself.  It could be a period, or it could be just more spotting left over from the MC.  If it concerns you, make a quick call to you doctor and just let him know what’s going on.  If he thinks it is leftover from thr Mc, he may want to see you to make sure everything is out so that you dont get an infection.

@Jennifferq:  I am so sorry for your loss. So it has been 2 weeks since you last had any bleeding? When I had my early miscarriage, I read some of the material that was provided to me by the early pregnancy loss clinic, and it said that you must not have bled at all for at least 20 days straight for it to be considered your period. I’ve also read some things online that say the same. *hugs*

I have had two m/cs. Both of them had me ovulating 14/15 days after the first bleed (which was CD1 technically), and getting my period 12 days after ovulation. I had 28 day cycles. It IS possible. With my second loss, I was still partially bleeding WHILE ovulating, and I got pregnant twice post m/c, so I definitely had a period 28 days after I stopped bleeding (WHILE bleeding throughout the month from the m/c).

When I had my miscarriage, I had bleeding for about a week, then two or three weeks later, I spotted for 5 days. My hcg levehad weren’t really going down as much as they should haveuntil the second round of bleeding/spotting. I ovulated a couple days later and went back to regular cycles.

It sounds like you could be experiencing something similar. My doctor said if I hadn’t gotten a regular period in two months or so to call him, but that it could take a little while to regulate.

First off, I just want to say I’m so sorry for your loss.  *hugs*

I’ve had 6 miscarriages.  5 of them have acted like delayed periods, 1 of them was a partial miscarriage where my HCG started rising again after the initial bleed.  That one took 2+ months to get back to non pregnancy levels and another month to ovulate with AF two weeks after that.  I temped as soon as I could (I vaginally temp) so I was able to see what was going on with my cycle and when I did ovulate again.  You might not as not everyone does.  *hugs*  Keep an eye on it and like a pp says, if you don’t feel like you have a true cycle within a couple of months, talk to your dr.
