Mine came back straight away as my regular cycle. But I know it can take other people 6-12 months to regulate so this is very individual. Have you spoken to your doctor about it?

mine came back immediately too, but took a while to actually regulate to their own preferred cycle, which is 33 days apart, rather than 28.

So I didn’t get off it, but I was taking it through my period to skip it. It took close to two years to get it back at all and for the past year or so it’s been super light.

Mine pretty much went back to its usual thing right away but I never really had irregular periods and never lost them on birth control.

Mine took 7 months to come back. I have a couple friends who took more than a year, and some who got it back right away – everyone is different!

Everyone is so different. I had an IUD with no periods and my period came back right away after it was removed. It was pretty consistant for the six months leading up to pregnancy.

You haven’t had your period in since stopping BC and it’s been 3 months? I would chat with your doctor. Are you tracking your temperature, CM or using OPKs? These data points may help you see what’s going on with your cycle.

Best of luck bee! TTC is a rollercoaster, baby dust to you!

I’ve been on birth control for about 12 years. A couple years ago, I had to skip a month due to a prescription hiccup. My period came back right as expected that very cycle!

@3bee:  Mine were normal right away, but I was not on a birth control that prevented me from having a period.  I was on various pills for 10+ years fwiw.

Mine were about 5 months until they finally came back! Although it felt like the first one back was coming for about 3 months before it finally arrived.
