I haven’t sat down and calculated it out yet.  However, I am on the pill and I plan to just skip the sugar (placebo pills) and move things a week ahead.  I have done it before and the extra does of drugs made me edgy.  So I plan to do it several months before the wedding and not during the final crunch time.

I’ve been on BC for years (OC) but I was off it for awhile last year. When I went back on it dawned on me to count out the weeks until my wedding so I wouldn’t have it on the day! As it stands It should be over the week before so I’m free and clear for my Destination Wedding and following 2 week honeymoon!

If I was at risk though I would try not to let it get in the way of anything, just not think about it! Someone I know had hers on the day and it was kind of a running joke between the bridesmaids all day. There’s even a pic she has holding tampons haha!

I had AF on my big day.  It actually wasn’t THAT bad, just a nuisance when it came time to change the tampon with my dress.  It did suck that Darling Husband and I weren’t able to do the naughty that night, but I was too exhausted anyway.

Mine is due the DAY OF.  When we originally set the date, I was totally safe.  It was right in the middle of two periods.  Due to stress and whatnot….it’s literally due on the big day.  There’s not much I can do about it (I’m not on BC), so….period it is!

I don’t feel good about it.  But…what are ya gonna do?

My cycle is kind of wonky this month due to some stress and other issues, but if it stays on track, I’ll be close. If I don’t actually have it on the wedding day (near the end of my cycle), then it will have just finished. I’m kind of bummed about it (as we were planning on TTC on our wedding night–when my cycle was regular), but it’s a ‘whatever’ kind of thing to me.

Um..yeah.  I’m on BC and VERY CAREFULLY planned out my cycle.  Or so I thought.  Turns out, I miscalculated terribly and will be about three days into my cycle on my wedding day.  I was devestated when I found out–I had skipped a period in March to try to move my cycle for the wedding (I have had breakthrough bleeding issues when skpping my period in the past, so that’s why I was trying to plan it so that my period just wasn’t happening during the wedding…without having to skip it using my BC) and somehow just miscalculated.

I cried for two days after I figured it out.  Devestated.  Not sure why, it just made me so upset to think that I’d be on my period on my wedding night.  Fiance said he didn’t care (it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve done it on my period), and I know he doesn’t but just…UGH.  He said he’d rather it be over and done with for the honeymoon the week after.

If mine comes on time, which it never does, it will end 2 days before the wedding. So I have my fingers crossed that it doesn’t come late! I just don’t want to have to deal with that in my dress and everything.. seems like a giant pain in the butt.

If you can get a BC prescription (if you have time). If not, then there’s not much you can do. I’m using BC & according to my schedule I’ll have it a week or two before the wedding (yay)
